Out of School Hours Care

Out of School Hours Care

The Star of the Sea OSHC service is a child care activity program where parents may leave their children before and/or after school knowing that they will be well supervised and cared for as they enjoy themselves playing or participating in various activities.

The service aims to provide:

  • Quality care and recreation for school aged children
  • An environment where the children can play in a comfortable home like atmosphere
  • A variety of activities to suit the children’s interests and age levels
  • An environment where children feel they belong and can participate in the running of the program

The Service is for all school aged children from 4 years to 12 years old and offers placements on a permanent or casual basis. An enrolment and registration form must be completed before any student may attend. Forms are available from the Out of Hours School Office.  For more enrolment information please click here.

The programs at Star of the Sea Outside School Hours Care will follow the EYLF & My Time Our Place Curriculums and will comply with the National Quality Framework as well as the Education and Care National Regulations and Act.  Programs will be developed in consultation with children and families attending the programs and will be based on children’s interests.
